Again, Air Technical Industries has the solution

Existing plant to the new plant seemed to be a major issue. Their safety department also had some extreme policies that had no wiggle room. They needed 2 sets of landing doors that opened up to a lift that also had gates. The 3 foot of lift was no problem, but they needed the lift to fit in the 6” pit. If all of this was not enough, the lift and landing doors needed to work together to ensure the safety of their personnel and their product.

As Air Technical does all the time, they told this customer they have come to the right place. Instead of telling them we don’t do landing doors or making some other excuse why we couldn’t or wouldn’t do something ATI said they have the solution.

After making a few calls to elevator manufacturers we found a company that was willing to work together to help this customer. Making some modifications to our Magic Dock Lift Table, ATI had the exact solution that this customer was told over and over could not be done. The Magic Dock Lift Table is part of ATI’s Dock Lifts and Scissor Lift Table side of their business.

As many previous customers have found, Air Technical Industries is both capable and willing to do those special one of a kind applications. For a quick look at some of these projects, please use the links provided to see what ATI can do and what they will do for you and your company.

The Show Must Go On

A theater in California was looking for a cost effective way to bring props up to their stage level that was about 10′ above the basement where the lift was installed. Some of the props consist of a grand piano that could weigh upwards of 2,000 pounds. They were limited to the amount of floor space in which they were going to put the lift table. We designed a double scissors hydraulic lift table that was rated for 4,000 lbs in a small footprint. The table was equipped guard rails and safety skirts to protect crew from the scissors mechanisms. The lift would assist them in moving heavy items to the stage level. This prevents anyone from injuring themselves having to carry large, heavy items up the stairs. You wouldn’t normally consider ergonomics a major factor in the performance arts industry, but ATI was able to make it happen!
